Principal's Report

Pauline Simpson —

Week One

Whānau lunch - Friday 25 October

Welcome back to everyone for Term Four. We have an exciting term of learning and fun planned for the children. On Friday next week the classrooms will be open from 12:15 pm for parents and wider family members to come and see some of the learning that children have been doing. We would love you to bring a picnic lunch for your family and to stay and eat with your children. The school will be open to families from 12:15 - 1:25 pm. We would love to see you here next Friday.

Loud Shirt Day

A huge thank you to everyone for your support of Loud Shirt Day today. Everyone has had great fun dressing up in their loudest colours. We have raised $409.60 for The Hearing House and the Cochlear Implant programme. This is a great way to support this worthy cause.

Before School Drop Off

Just a reminder that the school is open for children from 8:30 a.m. each morning. If your child needs care earlier in the morning, our Early Birds programme runs from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. Please let the office know if you need to book in for this. It is important that your child is at school before 8:55 am each day. Road patrol crossings at both Jeffery Street and Highcliff Road are manned between 8:30 and 8:55 am. If your child arrives after 8:55 am the school gates will be closed. You will need to help your child open them if they are running late. All children who arrive after 8:55 am need to report to the office so that we know they are here and marked off our school roll. Learning starts promptly at 9:00 am so please ensure that your child arrives at school in good time. We want them to make the most of their learning time.

Have a great weekend and we look forward to seeing you all next week.
