Term 1 2025

The Board is excited to announce that the Ministry of Education is constructing a new hall and classrooms to replace the existing hall and classrooms 5 and 6, which are no longer fit for purpose. The project is currently in tender with construction anticipated to begin during Term 1 2025.

The school has a long and proud history at our Jeffery Street site.  As we move forward to this  development, we want to take the opportunity to reflect on our past.  This will begin with a community event to open the time capsule sealed in 1996 and hidden below the floorboards in the hall.  This will take place in February, before demolition of the classrooms and hall begins. A date for this gathering will be announced shortly.

We will continue to keep you updated on progress as we work toward a new, modern, fit for purpose hall and replacement teaching spaces.
