Congratulations:

Last weekend the South Island Junior Surf Lifesaving Championships were held in Christchurch.  We had three children participate in this event.

• Luka Richardson was placed 3rd in the Under 9 Boys Diamond, 1st in the Run, Wade, Run and a three way tie for top Under 9 Boy overall
• Walter Sheed was placed 2nd in the Under 9 Board Race and 2nd in the Diamond
• Ella Appleton was placed 3rd in the Under 11 Girls Board Race, 3rd in the Diamond, 3rd in the Run Swim Run and 2nd in the Surf Race

Luka and Walter came together for a composite team as they compete for different clubs and formed a super Andy Bay Team and won the Board Relay.
