Principal's Report
Week Two
Walking School Bus
It was the perfect day today for Scout and Constable Greer to walk with children to school this morning. The sun was shining and the children were happy. Thanks to the parents who dropped their children off at one of the meeting points so the children could walk the last part of the way into school. The drop off points at the top of Every Street and on Highcliff Road provide a safe walking route to school for children, with no roads to cross.
If you are dropping your children off on Jeffery Street, please remember not to park on yellow lines to do so. Once you have dropped your children, please concentrate on your driving. It is unsafe to drive slowly along beside your children until they reach the pedestrian steps into school.
Thank you for your ongoing support with keeping our children safe.
Whānau Lunch
What a fabulous turnout for our whānau lunch today. It was lovely for the children to be able to share their learning with family members and to have lunch together. The day was perfect for a picnic and we loved showing everyone all the great learning that we do in class. Thank you all for coming along.
Have a lovely long weekend
