Week Three
On Monday I had the privilege of accompanying Miss Wood and some of our Year 6 students to the Marimba Jam at Tahuna Intermediate School. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to work with students from other schools and to explore and enjoy making music more fully. These experiences are really valuable for our students. It was great to see the student enjoyment that came with participating in this event.
We were lucky that the weather held off yesterday, allowing us to hold our annual cross country event at school. This was another great opportunity for students to show perseverance and determination, pushing themselves to run their best. Thank you to all the parents and family members who came along to support the students at the event. Placeholders will be presented with their certificates at next week’s assembly.
Congratulations to Frankie Osborn and Ailish O’Neill who won prizes at this week’s Peninsula Art Exhibition at Bayfield High School. A number of students from across the school participated in this exhibition. It is great to see our students getting involved and making the most of the opportunities available to them.
Have a great weekend and enjoy your family time.
