What a great three days back at school we have all had. The children have settled so well into their classrooms and there has been plenty of new learning to start the year. The children whose classrooms are currently unavailable due to the building work have shown fantastic resilience working in different spaces and are now well settled into learning. The building work is currently on track to be completed this term.
What’s On in Week 2

Tuesday is Waitangi Day and there will be no school that day.

School Contribution
Invoices for this were sent out today. Please contact the office if you didn’t receive your invoice. A huge thank you to the families who have paid this school donation so promptly.
Attendance
There is strong evidence that there is a clear connection between going to school regularly and doing well in the classroom, both academically and emotionally. We all want our children to thrive and we therefore ask all families to ensure that your children do attend school every single day that it is open, unless they are unwell.
Our shared attendance responsibilities - Ministry of Education website:
Whānau | parents and caregivers must make sure their children are at school every day, and let the school know on the day if they’re absent. Family holidays or taking time off for extracurricular activities (not organised by school) are not acceptable reasons for being absent.
Have a lovely weekend. We look forward to seeing all the children again on Monday.
