The Board has agreed to keep our school contribution donation at $250.00 per student for 2025
At Andersons Bay School we provide our students with a wide range of experiences, both within and outside the classroom. As we are not eligible to opt in to the Ministry of Education school donation scheme, we rely on parent support to pay for programmes that give our students these rich experiences. The Board has agreed to keep our school contribution donation at $250.00 per student for 2025. This voluntary contribution covers activities including swimming tuition, visiting shows, bus trips, entry fees for venues, school field trips, and other activities that enhance the school curriculum for our students.
One exciting opportunity that is covered by the school contribution donation this year is our field trip to Quarantine Island later in Term One. It is important to us that we are able to continue offering trips such as these as part of our curriculum, and we ask that you support us with this by paying your school contribution promptly.
The Board has agreed to offer a 10% discount for all full school donation payments made before 1 March 2025. We continue to offer a variety of ways this contribution may be paid to make it easier for parents.
Payroll Giving through your employer
An automatic payment of $5.00 per week for each student
Lump sum payment of $250.00 (discounted to $225.00 per student if paid before 1 March 2024)
Four termly payments of $62.50
Please keep in mind that your school contribution can be claimed as a donation in your IR526 tax credit claim form and you will be able to receive 33.33% of your donation back. The school provides a receipt for all school donations.
