Advent Sunday, 3 December

• 9.30am — First Advent with Holy Communion and 50th Church Birthday with shared lunch at Church of the Resurrection, Rolleston. 
  
• 9.30am — Christmas Pageant (all children can dress-up and participate) at St Bartholomew's Church, Cass Street, Kaiapoi.
• 9.30am — Amberley Parish Remembrance service.
• 9.30am and 11am — St Augustine's, Cashmere.
  
• 9.30am — Celebration of Youth with Stir-up Sunday at St James Southbridge, Parish of Ellesmere.
• 10am — Amuri Co-operating Parish 'Christingle' for the children, Rotherham.
  
• 6pm — Christmas Carol Service at St James Maungati.
• 7pm — Gospel Evensong at St Paul's Papanui.
  
• 7pm — Advent Carol Service at the Transitional Cathedral.
  
• 7pm — Parish's Lessons and Carols at St Christopher's, Avonhead (a historic celebration of the story with song, plus a great sherry supper after).

Advent Sunday, 10 December

• 8am, 9.30am — Remembrance of departed (light a candle in memory) at the Parish of Upper Riccarton-Yaldhurst.
• 10am — Carol Service with the Waimate District Choir at St Augustine's.
• 10.30am — Kidzone Christmas Service at St Mary's Halswell.
• 11.15am — Christmas Service with Preschool, followed by lunch at the Parish of Upper Riccarton-Yaldhurst.
• 6pm — Lessons and Carols with the Silver Band at St Faith's Church, 46 Hawke St.

Monday, 11 December

• 7.30pm — Association of Anglican Women Carol Service at St Mary's Halswell.
