St Barnabas Anglican Church in Fendalton is seeking a Verger/Events Manager to bring energy and organisation to our bustling, historic, and growing community.
As the Verger/Events Manager, you'll be pivotal in creating welcoming, invitational, accessible, and top-notch facilities for our parishioners, visitors, staff, and clergy. From managing events to maintaining facilities and ensuring health and safety compliance, your role is about fostering a sense of belonging at St Barnabas.
Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
- Events Management: Ensure our facilities are primed and ready for action, from special events to regular services to community gatherings.
- Facilities Management and Maintenance: Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes through cleaning, repairs, and maintenance tasks, and manage long-term maintenance plans.
- Health and Safety: Take the lead on ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, prioritising the safety of our facilities and people.
- Core Competencies: If you're warm, organised, collaborative, and tech-savvy, you're the perfect fit! Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team will be key to your success.
