We are a large parish in South Canterbury, extending from the edge of the Mackenzie area at Albury and eastward to the coast. This brings a wide variety of scenery, lifestyles and recreational activities, which invite exploration and visiting.

We invite applications for the position of Vicar in our Parish of Temuka-

Te Ngawai from Anglican priests who are:

• joyful in their faith, Jesus focused and open to the gifts of the Spirit.

• inclusive in all dealings with parish and community.

• problem solvers and innovative; with three churches to serve a realisation that not all need the same answer is important.

• technologically minded but also realizing that an ageing congregation has differing levels of competence in modern devices and applications.

• encouragers in all levels of parish life.

• good communicators, showing genuine interest in people.

• fit, with the stamina to cope with the workload and distances necessary in a large parish, 2 hours from Christchurch.

• able to deal with possible disturbances due to church strengthening at

• St Peter’s, Temuka.

• Eligible to work in Aotearoa New Zealand
