Messy Church in Geraldine on 27 July saw twenty kids and their handlers turn out to make paper lanterns and jam jar candle holders.

The session began with Rev'd Hugh reading Genesis 1:1-4 from the big church bible. They learned not only that they needn’t be afraid of the dark because Jesus is the Light of the World, but that they, too are lights of the world. The session ended with a lantern parade around the church while singing “This Little Light of Mine” before a pizza and popcorn dinner.
