FREE event suitable for pastors, counsellors, and health professionals, as well as for men negatively impacted by an abortion experience.

When: Thursday 28th September (7pm-8.30pm opening, blessing and supper) Friday 29th September (9.30am-4pm workshops) and Saturday 30th September (10am-3pm open day for the Exhibition)

Where: Rangiora Baptist Church, 111 East Belt, Rangiora

Workshops on Friday include: Greg Mayo from Men’s Task Force, Support After Abortion, USA livestreaming to share his personal story and about his work; Carolina Gnad (counsellor/supervisor/trainer) will explore the Context and Potential Impacts of Abortion for Men; Wendy Hill (counsellor and chaplain, manager of Greenstone Doors and co-ordinator of Rachel’s Vineyard will talk about disenfranchised grief for men; and Marina Young will share her personal story, a video where her husband Peter shares his experience, and also how the Buttons Project came about.

The Exhibition of the Buttons Project buttons and stories, and Rachel’s Vineyard quilt and resources, and Dawnings resources will be available throughout. The team will be available to talk to as well on the Saturday.
