Recent Bridal Wear Sale & Wedding Expo
On Saturday, 9 Mar at St Paul's Papanui, the bridal wear sale and wedding expo was an overall success.
Many potential brides and other admirers coming through. Several wedding dresses were sold and other stalls also received interest. Many visitors were fascinated by St Paul's Anglican Church and requested more information on the building and on the possibility of having weddings here. The bells made a joyful noise and added to the atmosphere. As a fundraiser it also was successful, though the event overall was not mainly commercially driven. The lady in the photo below is Liz van Til, the organiser of the event, together with other friends, especially Robyn to whom the wedding dresses belonged.
