Prayer Pilgrimage will help center us on God's purpose, power and plans. by Mark Chamberlain

Prayer Pilgrimage will help us center on God's purpose, power and plans.

Bishop Peter urges us to get involved in this weekend's Prayer Pilgrimage.

Our work of regeneration in the Diocese needs to be sustained by our prayers to God. So come on down to your nearest Waypoint for an hour of concerted prayer - 7pm Friday at St Mary's Timaru, 10am Saturday at St Stephen's Ashburton, 1pm at the Cardboard Cathedral, 4pm at St John's Rangiora and 10am Sunday at All Saints' Hokitika.

So let's get together to pray for our personal renewal and the regeneration of our Diocese!

Diocesan Prayer for Regeneration

Bidding

As the kōtuku gently rests upon the tree,

come and rest upon us Holy Spirit

as we pray for the regeneration of our Diocese.

Silence

Everliving God,

through your Spirit you constantly renew the whole creation;

bring regeneration to your Diocese of Christchurch,

grant us courage to grow disciples of Jesus,

give us vision to reach young people and their families,

and strengthen us to create vibrant communities of faith.

All this we ask in Jesus' name.

Amen
