A Convivial ConVocation

All our 94 Women Clergy are invited to gather from 9am-3pm on Mon, 10 June 2024 at St Stephen's Ashburton.

All our 94 Women Clergy are invited to gather on Monday, 10 June 2024 at St Stephen's Ashburton, from across Christchurch Diocese, with colleagues from Te Pīhopatanga o Te Waipounamu: Training, Active, Tired and Retired—do come!

June 10 programme
Welcoming cuppa from 8:30am.
9am-3pm programme of spiritual refreshment and worship, connections, small group sessions about joys, hopes and challenges, a Celebratory Long Lunch (12:45-1:45) - especially to celebrate the ministry of older clergy (come for this if nothing else!) followed by Eucharist.
3pm depart for Clergy Conference at Methven (those not attending can stay and cuppa until 4pm!)

Please bring a special A4 size piece of fabric which will be sewn into bunting on the day.

There is scope for displays—eg clergy wear, stoles...
A swap meet—eg bring spare church linen,
odd cruets/stoppers, unneeded clerical wear,
out-grown clergy shirts...

To attend, please register by May 23 (full moon) with Deputy Vicar General of Christchurch Diocese

Cost: Most costs are covered by the diocese, cash koha for extra items are welcome on the day.
