Aquinas water polo teams have been back in the pool and recording some good wins as they gear up for AIMS next week and the North Island championships later this term.

At the recent Bay Fest Y7 & 8 tournament, the AC Mixed team finished second in Grade A after a tough final loss to Mt Maunganui Intermediate boys. AC Girls finished third in Grade B after a great win versus Pāpāmoa College

Following AIMS Games next week, the teams head to Auckland on September 22 for the North Island Y7 & 8 Championships.

And congratulations to the Aquinas students who played in the Tauranga Water Polo U14 Girls and Boys Development teams in Rotorua this month. Ben Edwards Y10 was named tournament MVP and Y9’s James Prince was the most valuable goalie. Jemima Helm Y9 was named to the tournament team.

Our senior water polo teams will take part in the North Island Y9 & 10 Championships in Auckland on November 24.
