Host Families Needed for Short Visit from Japanese Students

Aquinas College —

In February, we will be welcoming a group of Japanese students for an 11-day visit to Aquinas and are looking for families to accommodate them.

The short trip from Tamadai Hijirigaoka Junior High School students is part of a Tauranga-wide initiative that will see 130 Japanese students visit colleges throughout the city for a taste of NZ.

If you are interested in hosting one or two students, please contact International Director Donna Jarden at djarden@aquinas.school.nz. Students will stay with their host family for 10 nights, including a weekend of local sightseeing. During the week, students will attend  Aquinas College, and go on an excursion to Rotorua.

It will be the first short-term international visit to Aquinas since 2020.
