ASA Students Knock Out 6km Run and Boxing Challenge

Aquinas College —

Our Aquinas Sports Academy (ASA) ended Term 2 with a gruelling fitness challenge that tested students’ endurance.

On Friday, June 30, Mr Elder and Mrs Tarr took ASA students out to put into practice what they’ve been learning in classes.

They started with a 6km run around the Daisy Hardwick Loop/Waikaereo Expressway followed immediately by two workout sessions at TGA Box.

Mr Elder led students through a functional fitness circuit and then a box-fit workout.

The day ended with a much-needed recovery session at the Oropi Hot Pools. Congratulations to all our ASA students for their hard mahi! A great display of team unity and individual strength.

We look forward to hearing about the group's next trip in Term 3.
