A new year means a few new faces among the Aquinas staffing lineup. Let’s introduce them…

Executive Assistant – Sheryl Flexman:

Mrs Flexman took up the role this year, taking over from long-standing staff member Moira Ramsbottom who has retired. She brings outstanding experience as a person/executive assistant in government agencies and the corporate sector. Her wide knowledge of business and administrative practices will be a great asset to our Administration team.

Director of International Students – Claire Bentley:

Mrs Bentley is another 2023 addition, replacing Donna Jarden as the Director of International Students. She has a teaching background, most recently as a teacher and an RTLB in Auckland, and also has experience as an educator with Life Education. Her son is a student at Aquinas.

Reception Administrator – Leanne Dragovich:

Mrs Dragovich comes to us with multiple talents in education, administration, technology and interpersonal skills. Leanne has a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from Waikato University and has taught as a New Entrant teacher at St Thomas More Catholic School where she was also the DRS in a fixed-term role in 2016. Her son is a student at Aquinas.

Learning Assistant – Gulaser (Gen) Aslan:

Ms Aslan has extensive work experience and education history. She has recently arrived from the UK where for the past two years she has provided learning support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.

Gen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from her homeland of Turkey, and a Masters degree in Marketing from Middlesex University, London.
