A belated round of applause for our Year 7 and Year 8 speech competition winners!

Emily Hattie (Yr 7) and Kiana Schoeser (Yr 8) won first place with their take on the assigned topic of ‘Saving the Earth’. Emily’s persuasive speech focused on the need to address ocean pollution while Kiana zeroed in on Global Warming.

Emily now goes through to next month’s South Cluster contest. Year 8 second-placegetter Georgia-Rose McFarlane will substitute for Kiana who is unable to attend.
