Thank you, Aquinas, you blew our $500 Shave For A Cure fundraising target away! Donations now stand at $1,003 after last Wednesday’s lunchtime barber session.

In the end, six students, Mr Howells and Mr Kirkham shed their locks for the cancer fundraiser, egged on by an enthusiastic crowd.

Disclaimer: Mr Kennedy still sports a full head of hair as he was unfortunately double-booked. (A set of clippers await him at the next school Assembly!) 

Mr Kennedy had pledged to join the shave if donations reached $500. A few hours before the event donations stood at just $241 but then skyrocketed to $697 by shave-off time!
