Y13s Win Business Experiences, More Available

AC —

Year 13 Business students have the opportunity to apply for ‘Extreme Experiences’ through the Young Enterprise scheme. Four Y13 Aquinas students have already won places.

To earn a place students need to record a You-Tube clip explaining why they want to be part of the extreme business experience.

Khushman Khakh, Christopher Addidle and Jaspar Collins have won selection for next month’s Biz Venture Japan trip in Wellington. Jaspar also earned a place on the weeklong Latin American Biz Programme in Auckland during the July holidays. And Liam Keightley won a spot on the three-day Enterprise in Action experience in Wellington this month.

Students will work with mentors from local host companies, including Japanese and Latin American businesses. They work in teams with students based in Brazil and Japan to develop a commercial solution to a real-world problem experienced in both countries. The students also visit NZ-based businesses that work in Latin America and Japan.

All four experiences are sponsored by the YES program and include all flights, accommodation and food.
