Aquinas whānau, get a group together for a night of fun-filled musical BINGO to help send our premier girls' basketball team on tour to the USA!

The March 25 fundraising extraordinaire is a chance to get your friends together, get dressed up, enjoy our libations and raise money for our basketballers, currently ranked second in NZ.

Purchasing a table (for eight people) costs a paltry $200, and every individual receives a bingo card with songs instead of numbers. Single tickets of $25 per person are also available and we'll assign you to a fun table. Tick off each song as it is played until you win!! Doors open at 6.30 p.m. and the bingo kicks off at 7.00 p.m.

Funds raised from the night will help bankroll the team’s five-city tour of California in November. Each of the 10 players needs to raise $7,500 for the trip.

While stateside they will visit San Francisco, Santa Rosa, San Jose, Monterey and Gilroy, and play three games against local high schools. Their off-court activities will include a visit to Stanford University, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and attending an NBL game.

The trip is a chance to grow the team’s already impressive skills. It had a fantastic 2022, clinching silver at nationals — for only the second time in Aquinas history.
