AC Volleyballers to Compete for NZ Māori in Canada
Congratulations to Isabella Wilson, Bella Devereaux and Isabella Marsh who have been selected to the NZ Māori volleyball team to compete at a 2025 indigenous championship in Canada.
The Aotearoa Māori Poirewa (AMP) team will participate in the All Nations Volleyball Championship against the top indigenous volleyballers across Canada next July.
Isabella Marsh (Year 12), and Bella and Isabella (both Year 11) will compete in the U20 or U18 NZ Māori teams. They won AMP selection after trialling earlier this month.
The competition is a chance for the top Indigenous volleyballers in NZ and Canada to connect and further their sport. It’s also a chance to land volleyball scholarships with US colleges sending scouts to the event.
