Aquinas hosted a sensational showcase of kapa haka last month as seven schools in our Catholic Kahui Ako gathered to connect, celebrate and perform.

Students from as far away as Putaruru and Ōpōtiki took part in the ahurei (festival), which saw the debut of the Aquinas kapa haka rōpū’s new kakahu. As a thank you, each participating school went home with a framed artwork by senior Aquinas art students. Our thanks to all the spectators who came to support!
