Aquinas’ Middle School Council is back up and running, giving students from Yrs 7 through 10 a say on school activities.

Year 13’s Bradley Muller is heading the Council, along with the help of Daniel Coster and Julia Coenraads. They will be joined by a nominated representative from each of the Middle School’s 16 mentor classes. The group will meet fortnightly throughout the year.

The goal is to hear what students want — whether it be lunchtime activities, fundraising events or service ideas — and see if this can be achieved. It also serves to build connections between middle and senior schools. Students are encouraged to share their ideas with mentor representatives for Council discussion.

The Council operated some years ago but lapsed during COVID.

We are looking forward to hearing what our young people have to say.
