A shout-out to the Aquinas Y7/8 Mixed Ripa Rugby team which came second in a pre-AIMS Games tournament, narrowly missing out on first place.

Aquinas won four of its five games in the Whakatane tournament organised by BOP Rugby, losing the top spot on a countback of total points. Aside from clinching second place, the team was also awarded a prize for displaying great sportsmanship. A fantastic result!

The team is coached by students Nat Barry, Spencer Wills, and Grace Kahle and managed by Health & PE teacher Lesley Park.
