The meteoric rise of Aquinas rugby phenom Grace Kahle continues... The Year 12 student was recently selected for the NZ Māori U18 Ngā Mareikura Women’s rugby team, an outstanding achievement!

Grace took to the field for the NZ Māori team during the October holidays in matches against the Chinese Women's International side and a Waikato Invitational U20 team.

Her NZ selection completes a stand-out season for the up-and-coming rugby player. She was named to both the BOP U18 Girls’ team and the BOP 2022 Volcanix FPC squad. For the NZ Māori U18 Ngā Mareikura side, Grace impressed selectors at a regional trial in August followed by a national trial camp. The side features 12 FPC players. An amazing accomplishment.
