A round of applause for Y11 student Holly Van den Borst! Competing for Aquinas, the rhythmic gymnast finished second overall at the recent NZ Secondary Schools competition.

Holly won silver by placing first in the Clubs apparatus, second in Hoop followed by solid Ribbon and Ball performances. She competes as a Level 9 gymnast, the third-highest level in NZ.

The success is the perfect warmup for the NZ Gymnastics Championships in Invercargill next month, where Holly will represent the Bay of Plenty. Awesome work Holly.
