OED Mountain Biking
Our Year 13 Outdoor Education students enjoyed a day at Whakarewarewa Forest last month, developing and practising their mountain biking skills as they work towards NCEA assessments.
With a clear, crisp 8-degree temperature, the students collaboratively planned and implemented their riding trails for the day, putting into practice their recent bushcraft, planning and preparation knowledge.
They will continue mountain biking throughout Term 3, utilising our natural resources here in Tauranga Moana and the wider BOP.
Ngā mihi nui to parent helpers Lance Berger and Roger Tamblin who shredded up the trails and assisted on the day. An awesome bunch of students who put some quality kms into their legs, and had a load of fun!
