A huge Aquinas congratulations to Y10 basketballer Emma Rogers! Emma has won selection to NZ U15 Women’s team to compete in the FIBA Oceania Championships in Guam this November.

The Oceania Championship is step one to qualify for the the 2024 U17 World Cup, and will give Emma and her team their first sense of how they stack up against other countries. The top finishers from the Guam November 21-26 event will proceed to the FIBA U16 Women’s Asian Championships.

Emma’s selection to the NZ team follows a national selection camp in April and regional trials earlier this year. She is just 14. An incredible talent Emma! Well done for all the hard mahi to get this far.
