More than 60 Aquinas students and decidedly fewer staff rolled up their sleeves last week to donate blood for those in need.

Superbly orchestrated by the student-led Health Committee, the blood drive is an annual Aquinas event. However, it is the first time since the COVID pandemic that it has taken place.

From blood to daffodils… the Health Committee also organised last week’s Daffodil Day which saw hundreds of the spring flowers distributed to students as surprise gifts from friends. The event was a fundraiser for the Cancer Society.
