We're giving aspiring young filmmakers a chance to shine and show off their skills!

Calling all aspiring young filmmakers – Ara Institute of Canterbury’s School Shorts competition is back! Students with cinematic ambitions are encouraged to channel their inner Oscar nominee, and create a short film, doco or screen content of any genre. Finalists will have their films screened to an audience at Reading Cinemas and be in to win awards and cool prizes.

Students can use work they are creating for their NCEA studies, or create something brand new!

Entries are due by 30 September, so please let your students know about this awesome opportunity and direct them here for more competition details.
