Exciting news for aspiring nurses!

Ara | Te Pūkenga is pleased to share the news that our nurse training capacity is significantly increasing next year. In 2024 we’ll have four intakes for the Bachelor of Nursing in Christchurch (with starts in January, March, June and August) and two in Timaru (starting in March and August). 

If you know someone who’d like to train to become a Registered Nurse, this change makes it much more likely they’ll gain a place so please share the good news. 

Please also let them know that if their application relies on their 2023 NCEA results, they’ll need to apply to start in March or June as results won’t be available in time to start in January.
