Our previous info sessions were a big hit! So here are the new dates for 2025.
We’re seeking 12 individuals interested in gaining a Diploma in Business with specialisations in either Project Management or Leadership and Management in 2025. This fast-track pathway is available through Ara’s Centre of Assessment of Prior Learning (CAPL). Our tutors will evaluate your experience, previous courses, credits and qualifications to determine how they align with the academic requirements of the qualification.
Who’s eligible to apply?
CAPL is open to anyone who’s gained leadership, management and/or project management knowledge and skills from different sources, including:
Formal learning
Work experience
Workplace training
Life experience
Voluntary work
You should have a minimum of five years of work experience in leadership, management and/or project management roles. Ideally, you’ll have had exposure to operations, leadership, planning and projects, and can demonstrate a combination of technical expertise and leadership experience. If you want to graduate with the Project Management specialisation, you’ll also need to be able to demonstrate a knowledge of project management principles.
How much does it cost?
Once you’ve attended an initial profiling interview, we’ll provide you with an accurate quote for your personalised qualification pathway. We expect this to range between $2,000 and $2,750*. The cost to gain a full qualification depends on the amount of assessment and support required, but it's always less than the cost of studying the whole qualification ($6,000+). You may also be eligible for a Student Loan via StudyLink.
How long does it take?
During the programme, you’ll need to attend:
One-hour initial interview
Five x 1.5-hour group classes
3-hours of individual meetings with a learning facilitator
You’ll need to dedicate an average of 5-10 hours per week to the tasks assigned by the tutors.
How do I apply?
Please register your details here and we’ll send you an invitation to the next Diploma in Business information session. This session will provide further details on the application process, pricing and timelines and have time for Q&A.
