Our Events team is on the hunt for musicians and performers to entertain crowds at our 2023 summer events, including Sunday Sounds at the Dunedin Botanic Garden, and the new Music in Parks family event at Tahuna Park.

We want to discover talented local musicians and give them the opportunity to perform in front of their friends, whānau and neighbours, while showcasing the city’s green spaces with fun, family-friendly events.

Musicians or performers wanting to audition need to supply examples of their music and information about their previous gigs or performances.

A selection panel, made up of people of different ages and experience, will shortlist applicants and notify successful musicians in November.
