Christine has worked in education for more than thirty years in various forms; as a classroom teacher, SENCO, RTV for BLENNZ, release teacher, part-time teacher and now as a specialist teacher for Arahunga. She is passionate about children's well-being and loves the close interaction that Arahunga gives her with students, whānau and staff. 

Christine has a strong interest in te ao Maori and has enjoyed studying te reo for the last few years. She tries to bring tikanga Maori into her daily life. 

Christine has two adult children who have become her best friends and she loves to meet up with friends and whānau for good food and a red wine!
