Arowhenua Māori School —

E te whanau ā-kura o Arowhenua ki te rohe o Kāti Huirapa… tēnei te mihi mahana tēnei te mihi matakuikui ki a koutou mō te wahanga tuawhā

The term has just gone so fast! We had an action packed time at kura. Our whānau day at Tarahaoa was really lovely, thanks to those who made it out.

Then we co-hosted Hui ā-Iwi for Te Runanga o Ngāi Tahu. It was amazing to see at least three thousand people walk through our kura over the weekend. We started our play-house raffle. We still have tickets whānau mā, so you have until December 16th to buy them at $5.00 each. Either directly at kura or online (details are on our Facebook page).

Last week we held our Tuakana tama sleep over where we travelled up to watch the Breakers win.

This Thursday is our Tuakana kōtiro sleep over, which we are looking forward to.
