Otago Anniversary Day
School Closed - Monday 24th March 2025
Hi all
Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday 24th March there is a Public Holiday to celebrate Otago Anniversary day, so school will be closed.
Following Anniversary day, the school will be closed on Tuesday 25th also, for the staff to participate in a development day, where teachers will look at the new maths curriculum.
School will reopen again on Wednesday 26th March for a 9am start.
I hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
Ngā mihi nui
Flag of Otago Region
Combing the customary colours of Otago and depicting blue skies, tussock-clad hills of gold with two eight-pointed stars which appeared on the Otago Provincial Council's seal. The stars also suggest the sun in the sky and the lakes amongst the hills of Central Otago, the winning entry in a 2004 Otago Flag competition was designed by Gregor Macaulay of Dunedin. The eight pointed stars also appear in the University of Otago's crest and the legendary Speight's Brewery logo.
