Teams travelled to Caroline Bay on the 20/11/2023 and participated in rotations of activities in the park and on the beach:

• Rugby Invasion Game
• Riddle Solving & Photo Task
• Beach Volleyball
• I Te Timatanga (Rhymical & mental ability game, done in pairs to help develop counting in Maori while keeping a rhythm & action) & Hula Hoop Challenge Relay
• Poi Toa
• Charades
• Memory
• Music & Skipping
• Sponge & Noodle

We shared the beach with passengers from a very large cruise ship, docked in the harbour.  The visitors were very interested in what was going on, making for many conversions and explanations.

Our rangitahi managed themselves extremely well.  With the aid of a map, they navigated the park finding the various stations in the correct order and in a timely manner.
