These awards have been in operation since 2001 and last night we had 3 recipients nominated..........

Last night the SPAC PAC Pacifica Academic Awards were held in Christchurch at the new Shirley Boys + Avonside Girls complex.

This ceremony is held every year to acknowledge the best of Pacifica leadership and Academic performance within Canterbury schools. Ashburton College had three of our Samoan students acknowledged. They were Joseph Collins, Estee Aiolupotea and Easterlin Faamausili.  To  be nominated you need a minimum of a Merit Endorsement in NCEA L2. 

Estee was the female top scholar with 69 Excellence Credits. This is the 2nd time in 4 years that Ashburton College has captured this title! Estee plans to study law in the future.
