A freshly trained group of Yr 12 Peer Support Leaders are eager to guide this years incoming Yr 9's.

On Thursday and Friday last week nearly 80 Yr 12 students attended the Peer Support Training days. The two days of training were facilitated by AshColl Staff and saw the students learning the activities and honing the skills needed to lead a group of Yr 9 students.

The programme, which has been running at Ashburton College for nearly 30 years, promotes positive relationships, encourages a sense of belonging and creates a supportive environment where students can ask questions and seek advice from their peers.
