Under Red CPF our AshColl players were extremely fortunate to travel to STEC for this tournament. It was evident with the number of entries there was appetite for the championships to take place.

Our girls flew through their first three matches but knew facing Craighead would be the tough game in pool play.

With superb service deliveries and powerful work at the net we took out the first game 25-15. Craighead bounced back taking the second 26-24. This resulted ina nail-biter of a playoff with AshColl the eventual winners.

Roncalli put up a good fight in our semi-final with an extremely close second game. AshColl winning 26-24. Our girls worked hard and persevered in the final but sadly ran out of puff with Craighead taking the spoils.

Thank you to Shaun and Amanda from Sport Canterbury Aoraki for making this tournament come to fruition. The team and management thoroughly enjoyed the day.
