My name is Kyle Dickson and I’m a member of the online course, Creative Forest. When you are in Creative Forest, you have the freedom do learn about any creative subject you want, whether it’s writing stories or creating websites. Im my case I’ve started to learn 3D modelling within a program called Blender, and I’ve gotten quite far with it considering I’d never even touched 3D modelling software before.

When I first entered Creative Forest, I had no idea as to what I would like to learn. At first I wanted to learn video editing skills but then I went off of that, and somehow ended up downloading Blender. In the beginning I could barely put two cubes next to each other, but now I can create some decent stuff. The process of Blender isn’t as straightforward at all, because not only do you have to make the models, but you also have to set up a scene or backdrop, and set up your own lighting.

I’ve definitely enjoyed my time in Creative Forest. The skills I’ve learnt from it could be helpful for me in the future, when I’m going to decide where I want to go in my life.
