A great win for our cadets.......

On the 5th October the Ashburton Cadet Unit Skills Team, lead by Warrent Officer Class 2 Maria Costas, won the Southern Area Skills competition.  They will now compete for the National title in Auckland over Labour weekend.

Individual Awards to:

Cpl Brodyn Gabites for Top Navigation Theory test score & Lcpl Eli Orena Top Shot 137 out of 230.5,  sounds low but it is a hard shoot.

The team was also awarded the Sgt Lindsay Turner Esprit de Corps Trophy for the team who best displays the Corp values of comradeship, courage, commitment and integrity. This is voted by the teams and team managers.

Awesome work team. We also loaned competitors to the team from Motueka of Lcpl Nadine Cabanatan & Cdt Declan Pretorius.
