During my time in Creative forest, I have done a huge range of projects.

 I was lucky enough to join last year and continue on this year and I have no regrets. I was able to experiment with code, JavaScript and C# specifically, and had the opportunity to go in depth with designing different things.

This year I was a little nervous about what it was I wanted to work on. I was a little lost and looked into many different things. I ended up focusing on sculpting a 3D model of a character for a competition but unfortunately I ran out of time to complete said model in the given time frame. Not long after that I was fortunate enough to score a new gaming laptop! This was great as it’s given me an opportunity to experiment with programs that require a lot more power to run. This also gave me a chance to start doing the thing I have dreamt of doing and have a passion for. Now that I have a functional computer, I can begin live streaming on Twitch as well as creating a YouTube channel.

So far I have only created my Twitch account which I predominantly stream my favourite game osu!, although I’m looking to start streaming Dead By Daylight. It took me a while to set up an Overlay for Twitch but after lots of messing around I had finally completed the overlay that I use now. Keep scrolling to see a preview! :D

I think what’s so great about Creative Forest is that you can use the three hours given during a school week to focus on things you really love or are passionate about. It’s really helped me to gain motivation and get stuff done! I’ve learnt about design, coding and managing my own YouTube and Twitch accounts! I’m going to be very sad to see it go next year but I’ve enjoyed my time immensely.
