Audiology South Balclutha has opened its doors, which we’re really excited about!

We’ve moved into premises at 56 Clyde Street, the main drag through Balclutha, and are open Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, where you’ll find our super experienced customer care manager Jo Morrison ready to greet you with a smile.

Jo grew up in Clutha District, and has lived all of her life in the area, so has a lot of local knowledge and is well-known in the community. She is one of our new recruits at Audiology South, and very familiar with people’s diverse hearing care needs.

“I’m delighted to be working here,” she says. “It’s a privilege. I love helping people hear better.

“Balclutha is a small community in the middle of a large rural area, we have an aging population, and have lost a lot of community services. Audiology South has a genuine ethos of care and service continuity, and is proactive in giving back to communities, Balclutha included.”

Accessible hearing care is a prime value of Audiology South and this clinic is the latest in our commitment to ensure hearing services are accessible to our communities. The clinic has loads of on-street parking and easy access, particularly for those who are less mobile.

Many people don’t realise they may be eligible for a government hearing aid subsidy. We’ve been able to access subsidies for many of our clients, which makes hearing aids more affordable.
