Kia ora, my name is Kate Hamilton.

I have been a teacher in various settings - Primary, Secondary, Special Needs, and also a Resource Teacher of Learning and Behaviour for fifteen years.

I have always enjoyed my work finding better outcomes with children and families, so trained in counselling which has provided skills to add to my Mana Ake work.

I very much enjoy working in our multicultural schools where I continue to learn a great deal. Staff, children and families have welcomed us warmly as we all work together for better outcomes for our tamariki.
