At the beginning of this term, we went to the Chess Power tournament in Canterbury.

Joe, Jack, Shivam, Uros, Eric, Matthew, Bentley, Ritika, Finn, Callum, Paul and Luka, were all attendants. We played 7 games each and had to use clocks! Ritkia was named the top girl overall and our Year 7/8 team (top 4 players) ended up finishing 2nd overall, and have been invited to the Chess Power Nationals. 

We then entered the Canterbury Chess Championship. Our year 1-6 team was George, Ritika,Jason and Finn; and our Year 7/8 team of Jack, Bentley, Shivam and Uros finished 2nd overall.
