Kia ora whānau
The Student Council are proud to announce they are supporting Cure Kids and cancer research again this year. All money raised will help towards groundbreaking cancer research being done right here in Canterbury.
While the official Red Nose Day is on Friday 5th of July, the Student Council is planning a few fun activities in the last week of this term, including having a bake sale and merchandise sale on Monday 1st July, an ice-cream day Wednesday 3rd July, and a non-uniform day on Friday 5th July. All items for sale will be on sale for $1 or $2. We will be making the last week of school a fun week and hopefully we can beat our last year’s fundraising efforts!
On Monday 1st of July, which is our bake sale, will have a variety of baked goods such as cookies, brownies and even homemade pretzels. All baked goods be $1- $2. Along with our bake sale, we will be selling Red Nose Day merchandise for a gold coin too. The fun week will end on Friday 5th July with a non-uniform day (gold coin for any students in mufti), again all proceeds will be going to Cure Kids for Cancer research. More information coming out soon!
The Student Council wants to thank you and your whānau for supporting them and their chosen charity this term - Cure Kids. A special thanks also to all our senior leaders (Student Council, House Captains and PALS), for their contribution with the Bake Sale and supporting Cure Kids.
